The Hardcore Files #24 (Gerald Brisco vs. Crash Holly)

Welcome back to the Twenty Fourth edition of The Hardcore Files. Last time we saw Gerald Brisco secretly pin Crash Holly while he was sleeping to win the Hardcore Title. Now, Crash Holly wants his Hardcore Championship back. Let’s get into it.

(Hardcore Championship) Gerald Briscoe vs. Crash Holly

Crash Holly attacked Gerald Brisco and Pat Patterson backstage, then chased Brisco to the ring with a referee, starting this match.

Weapons were introduced into the match fairly quickly, and the fun began. Brisco pretty much held his own and beat the hell out of Crash with everything he could get his hands on; including broom sticks, trash can lids, and chairs. But still, the match didn’t last very long. Pat Patterson made his way down to the ring to help Gerald Brisco, and ended up costing him the match. Pat accidentally hit Gerald with a trash can after Crash moved, then was knocked down by Holly before he pinned Gerald Brisco to become the New Hardcore Champion.

Another quick match, but this was actually more hardcore based than a comedy match, but it still had a laughable factor to it. Pat & Gerald are like two idiots when they’re together, always messing something up or getting beat up, which is funny to watch. Plus, now that Crash Holly is champion again, we will probably see even more comedy based matches so look out for that, and be sure to come back for more of The Hardcore Files.
