Welcome back to the thirteenth edition of The Hardcore Files. Tonight we have a fun show. The moment I’ve been waiting for since the start. We finally get to see Test defend his Hardcore Championship against Crash Holly! According to Michael Cole, Crash challenges Test to this match, and he accepted. But, backstage before the match, Hardcore Holly asked Crash who he thinks he is, challenging Test. Crash replied by telling him he’s more hardcore than Hardcore Holly, then he shoved his cousin to the ground, before storming out to the ring. This’ll be good. Let’s get into it.

Right when the match began, Test kicked Holly down, then proceeded to throw him around like a rag doll. Soon after, Test threw him out of the ring, then into the crowd. After putting a trash can over his head and smacking it with a chair, Test threw him back over the barricade, leaving Crash Holly to literally crawl away. Holly went under the ring and found a fire extinguisher, ultimately leading to him spraying it in Test’s fave to gain momentum in the match.
After Crash was in control, Hardcore Holly came out from the back and watched the match from the stage while Crash Holly maintained control of the match, while beating Test with a pool stick. Crash tried to use the steel steps in a innovative way, by running and jumping off of them, but was caught in mid air with a chair shot to the head. Both men battled back into the ring, going back and forth trying to get the upper hand in this match, but after low blowing Test, then tossing him over the top to the floor; followed by a crossbody to the outside, Crash looked to have a good chance of winning. That was until Hardcore Holly made his way down to ringside with a chair, aiming for his cousins head.
When Crash turned around, he suddenly ducked and the chair shot from Hardcore Holly bounced off the head of Test. Crash Holly took advantage, and overcame all of the odds, pinning Test and becoming the new Hardcore Champion!
After the match, Hardcore Holly suddenly became happy and cheered on his cousin Crash, celebrating his championship win.
This match was decent, nothing great. But, there was a certain reason why I was looking forward to this so much, so I guess for those who don’t know, I should spill the beans. I gave a little hint two episodes saying 24/7. The meaning behind that is, now that Crash Holly is the Hardcore Champion, he introduced the Hardcore 24/7 rule, which indicated that the championship will be defended at any time, any place, as long as a referee was present. On the next episode, we finally dive into that, so be ready and tune in tomorrow for the next edition of The Hardcore Files.
