The Hardcore Files #12 (Big Boss Man vs. Test)

The twelfth edition of The Hardcore Files is here, and lucky for us, it’s not another Boss Man vs. Al Snow match. I know, I love the hardcore matches and the feud was fun, but after a while you want to see new challengers. Tonight, we’re back on Raw, and we finally get a new opponent. Big Boss Man will be defending his Hardcore Championship against Test, and it’s sure to be a battle. Let’s get into it.

(Hardcore Championship) Big Boss Man vs. Test

No time was wasted here. Once Test made his entrance, Boss Man jumped out of the ring and the fight began. They brawled at ringside, but the war quickly fell into the crowd, and it led them to the backstage area. Test fought Boss Man into a room where the lights were out, so we couldn’t see what was going on. But, Boss Man came out of the room on top, throwing Test into walls and into anything near by. I love when they brawl backstage, because it leads to cool or funny little moments like when they fought into a bathroom, then quickly went back out after Test opened a stall door and found some guy taking a shit. I mean come on, it can’t get any better than that. Or can it?

Test is busted opened at this point. Not sure what from, but his nose is gushing blood. Boss Man shut a garage door on Test’s throat, and tried for a pin. After the pin was unsuccessful, they fought their way back to the ring. And, we get a run-in. Prince Albert came in to get revenge after a altercation him and Boss Man had the previous week on SmackDown. Boss Man took him out with a trash can. He got back up, leaving Boss Man to hit him with his night stick. But, by this one; Test was recovered and took control after a slam, then took the night stick, driving it into his chest from the top rope. After the 1-2-3, we have a new Hardcore Champion, and his name is Test!

Well, that was a fun one. Finally we see some more backstage action, which had just the right amount of comedy and they used their surroundings well. I’m so happy that finally someone who’s name isn’t Al Snow or Big Boss Man is champ. Looking forward to see where we go from here, so come back next time for more of The Hardcore Files.
